BALLARD

It’s been one week from today that I first arrived to my new home, new job, new scene. I can honestly say that this experience so far has been noting short of serendipitous.  The energy here is relaxed, kind, and full of color! The 7 days leading up until now have defined my destiny as artful, expressive, and fortunate and with that said, I believe I am in the right place, at the right time. I’ve met a few good people that I live with, all very nice and loving. I have spent a lot of time with my older brother and his girlfriend, hiked the great Mt. Rainier just Saturday.

I love it here, but I miss my all my love in MN. There are moments when I am comsumed by lonliness, as if I was just pushed out of the nest. Self discovery is a powerful thing and it’s a move like this where you are allow yourself to reflect and change.

PICTURES coming soon!

These are pictures of the baby bag I designed and created for my cousin Krystle who is expecting a baby girl in June. I hope she likes it!

The design is a simple, two-large pocket bag with a built-in changing mat that attaches to the front flap. D-rings and a sturdy green strap finish it off.

These were plants given to me by my mom and the cactus was a gift from my sister Sam, to my boyfriend, Jake.

And just yesterday, our neighbors across the hall gave us this plant!

I pinned and organized this pattern last night, and today I finished sewing on the felt. I find it to be an exciting accessory for any setting.
